This is a vintage 10 inch tall one gallon 6-in wide fishers pickled bologna jar made at the Louisville fishers packing company. This has a really cool nearly complete silver background label and as you can see it is very decorative the lid is 4 and 5/8 in diameter the jar about 6-in diameter and 10 in tall this is a really nice old piece with a fantastic rare label this is pre barcode so this is probably 1960s

But I recently stumbled on a small cache of these charming 'confiture pots' at a Brocante. All with 'faceted' sides. This is one such item. This kind of French hand work is virtually a Lost Art. It would be quite unusual to find this kind of fine hand work in France after about 1960.
