This eBay listing is for a antique/vintage Chinese Table Desk that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. The total size is 7" tall, 12" across and 10" deep. I know very little about vintage and antique Asian artifacts so please review the pictures to see the actual item that I'm offering for sale. PLEASE NOTE: this has a front door that comes off with a skeleton keyhole but the hardware for the lock is totally missing so the front cover doesn't say in place if you bump the desk. The inside has 4 slide out drawers. This is all wood with metal hardware and handle on the top. Speaking of the top - there is an old crack in the wood that goes across the top and down the right side. This is prob from age as the wood dried out.

Dating from around 1870-1880, the wood is well worn on the legs and table edge with a huge amount of charm. The legs are beautifully turned with extensive carved details; the gilt lost on various areas.

The top is Rexene, it is very old but perfectly usable, I can have a hand made cattle hide leather fitted should the new owner wish of any colour they like, plus tooling for the cost price. This piece will honestly leave you speechless, firstly, it is enormous, both in width and depth, all the timber is hand carved from solid slabs of mahogany, there are brass fittings along the sides of the drawers, I'm not actually sure what they do, this piece seats 12 with ease, it breaks into three pieces for the top and the legs are all removable so it is very easy to transport and install.
