Set of 2 Japanese Artist Books; The Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji by Hokusai and The Fifty-Three Stages of the Tokaido by Hiroshige. These were published in 1966 with English test translations by East-West Center Press out of Honolulu. The printing of the color plates is lovely and each has a stunning cloth cover. Very nice and hard to find books. Both are in good vintage condition with some signs of wear and age. Most notably some wear to the dust jackets especially the Hiroshige edition. Also little looseness to the spines. Please see all photos.
