This lens is NOT compatible with Nikon DSLRs released after the D800. Quieter and smoother than my Nikon 28-70mm f2.8 - and you get 4mm+ extra on the wide angle end - makes a surprisingly useful difference, I found.

Lens is overall in very good used condition. Glass is 8/10- there is a scratch off towards the edge that doesn't effect images. Zoom and MF turn smoothly. AF/VC operate as they should. This is a sharp lens! Includes caps and hood.
