The Swatch Gent Special 27 MO CANTONE SWATCH VERTE was issued for EXPO.02, the 6th Swiss National Exhibition from May 15 to October 20, 2002. The exhibition consisted of five exhibition areas called "Arteplage", a word invented just for this Expo. It took place on the lakeshores of the towns of Biel, Murten, Neuchâtel and Yverdon-les-Bains. Swatch therefore launched four specials in different colors. Each watch features the 27 Swatch cantons and symbols or coats of arms of the 26 Swiss cantons. On the green background of the plastic strap are the cantons of Zug, Zurich, Ticino, Lucerne, Thurgau, St. Gallen, Neuchâtel and Vaud. This unusual watch is water-resistant and has an accurate quartz movement with battery, which is built into the transparent plastic case.
