At first glance, you might think this is just another cast iron doorstop. Although it certainly could be used as one, I believe it was originally designed to be used as a salesman's sample. I've never seen another like it and could only find one online that was very similar, and it's described as a rare salesman's sample.

Made in the second half of the 1800s during The art nouveau period. The pattern on the outside is absolutely classic Art Nouveau. It is made in deep eggplant or aubergine color. It is a good antique condition. It has two doors. One has a chip on the inside of the camper still functional. Both doors work. This is an extremely heavy cast metal piece.
