Bought this a couple of months ago to scan parts to make 3d printed accessories for. Opened it, used once for about 20 minutes before I realised my laptop was way too underpowered. the actual scan doesn't take long and the software is intuitive. However my old laptop took over an hour to process the scan of a DSLR camera. Instead of spending more money on a laptop I've decided to sell and try to get as much of the original cost back.
