This is a porcelain piece it’s labeled as an ashtray however it’s very clean and could be used for nuts or candies. There’s no damage to it whatsoever. If it was ever used as an ashtray it’s made in West Germany. It is a vintage piece. It says 1936 on the bottom of it, however I don’t know if that’s the date or if it’s the product number or stock number for this particular piece.
