Here is a Cabart oboe from the pre Loree era. Grenadilla wood and silver plated keys. Full open hole conservatory system with added thumbplate, semi automatic octaves and forked F resonance key. The serial number is HH 311. The bell has been repaired, as it had a number of cracks. It also bears the words ‘sole distributors Dallas London’, indicating it was made for the UK market. Good condition, recently restored by Peter Davies. Comes with a functional student case. This is a good oboe for a progressing student or an advanced amateur. I’m selling off part of my collection due to an upcoming house move. Any questions, please ask.

This Buescher Aristocrat Oboe does function if you know how to play woodwinds. It will need adjustment before I suggest putting it into the hands of a beginner as Oboe can be quite hard to learn when the instrument is out of adjustment. The case and instrument itself are good for students and beginners due to the strong protective case, and simple and durable design of the buttons and components. THIS INSTRUMENT IS MADE OF PLASTIC/ACRYLIC, NOT WOOD. If purchased, your order will include the instrument and the case. To make sounds, you will need to purchase reeds. I am writing like this to make sure that anyone who views this listing understands what they are getting if they buy this.
