This is a wonderful authentic Victorian ladies Black Mourning Hat dates to the 1860's civil war era. The top of the hat is adorned with both a vintage black velvet ribbon. Horsehair edging and beaded trim and a rose in front just above the face. This really is an amazing hat to have survived 160 years and still be in this condition. I have included with this a handcrafted Hatpin constructed using both vintage and new components. Please see all photos as they are a good portion of the description.
