The item is supposedly to be open box I was trying it and the motor worked but all at the sudden stopped working selling it as is It seems the brushes of the motor ( which is an easy fix) got burned and they are replaceable selling it as is for parts I am sure it is an easy fix as I heard the motor working when I first plugged it in
