This is a vintage Mid-Century Modern ceramic serving platter tray, produced by Ernestine in Italy. It features a floral design in multicolor on a rectangular shape. The pottery production technique was used to create this glossy-finished platter, which has an impressed backstamp. It has one compartment and is an original piece. In good vintage pre owned condition. No damage detected. There are spots that glaze did not cover during manufacturing. Measurements are in photos. Ernestine a vécu à Salerne pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, où en 1948 elle a créé son entreprise en réponse à la pauvreté d'après-guerre qu'elle y a vue. En 1951, Ernestine a reçu un Neiman Marcus Fashion Award, la raison invoquée étant que ses "designs créatifs" avaient "apporté une nouvelle vie à l'industrie de la céramique en Italie".
