Ceramica Italian Ricco Deruta Italy Handmade/Hand Painted Coffee Mug. This mug was made in the Deruta or Umbria region of Italy, which are world renowned for their excellent ceramic ware. This mug is in good condition, with the exception of a tiny chip at the bottom rim, this is shown in the photos. I will fix this with a ceramic repair material. These mugs are dishwasher safe, but the company recommends hand washing, and not putting them through a dishwasher for longevity of the piece. The Deruta company site also recommends not putting them in a microwave, except for very short periods to warm a drink. The retail on this mug is around $50. I priced it low due to the chip.
