Sony Handycam DCR-TRV255E Compact Handheld Digital8 Camcorder. Charged up the battery and managed to test the basic functionality for a short time and seems to work fine. However the battery quickly ran empty so needs a new lithium battery as current one worn out. These can be easily purchased on ebay as a replacement. Untested with tape and recording.
