A CROS requires a compatible hearing aid on your better ear to receive the sound. It is compatible with Silk 3X/5X/7X and not compatible with Silk 1X/2X. Unlike hearing aids that sit behind the ear, Silk X’s microphones pick up sound inside the ear canal.
