This is a vintage tone edge mouthpiece also called the early Babbitt this is a reference to the manufacture change after the slant signature ear and it changed to a company named J.J. Babbitt because it was on of the first new models produced under the new company during the period 1970-1979. This mouthpiece also has a U.S.A logo stamp error I have never seen before, it does mot take away from the beautiful vintage tone and sound it has it just adds a special uniqueness to the mouthpiece Message me if you have any questions about this mouthpiece.
