This 2TB 5400RPM hard drive was removed from a new old stock laptop, placed in a brand new external enclosure, and tested thoroughly. It has been exFAT formatted for compatibility with both Windows and macOS. If you prefer NTFS, please let us know and we will reformat the drive before it ships. Protective plastic on the clear acrylic should be removed before use.
