An Apache can carry 16 Hellfire missiles, theoretically eliminating 16 tanks per attack. AH-64 is currently used by 13 countries and regions in the world, including Japan, Taiwan, China and Israel. The first mass-produced version of the AH-64 is the AH-64A, which has been in service since 1984 and reached Initial Operational Capability (IOC) in July 1986.
