I've connected this radio to a 12v power supply, and the dial back-light turned on and I heard some noise from the internal speaker. The audio level indicator was also responsive. Since I don't have an antenna or a second CB radio, I can't test it any further than that, but all signs seem to indicate that it's in working order. Aside from the split wire (see last picture) the unit is in great physical condition and is quite clean, too.
