There's a little bit of corrosion inside the battery terminal. I put four brand new batteries in there and it worked. It started asking me which character I was playing as and it went through all the characters sounded good will require cleaning. Please see photos to judge condition and yes, this is working properly. Feel free to ask me any questions you have has battery door and screwed a hold of the door in shown in photos.
