The Yealink AX86R is a ruggedised WiFi handset, featuring embedded dual-band WiFi 6 technology with support for four SIP accounts, and a sturdy IP67-rated chassis. Like Yealink's other WiFi 6 handset, the AX83H, the AX86R contains an embedded dual-band WiFi 6 module and so, unlike most other VoIP phones, doesn't require a base station or physical network connection to work; the AX86R can connect to the network over WiFi and supports 802.11k/v/r roaming to automatically switch between WiFi signals with no loss of connection.
