Tomoe Yokoi was born in 1943 in Nagoya, Japan. After her graduation from Tokyo College of Art she moved to Paris in 1964. In 1971 she moved to New York. Works by Tomoe Yokoi are in the collections of major museums like the Museum of Modern Art in Paris or the Brooklyn Museum in New York.
