"Once bitter rivals, 2007 saw Mario and Sonic star in the same video game for the first time as they went to the Olympic games in Beijing. After that game's success it doesn't take a genius to realise that it was only a matter of time before our plumber and hedgehog heroes got together again, and that's exactly what they are doing now, to celebrate the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. As with the last M&S Olympic outing, our two icons are not alone, they have brought a selection of characters from their adventures along too. Mario's team has Luigi and Yoshi, obviously but there are also Princess Peach and Donkey Kong too. Sonic has enlisted Tails, Knuckles, Amy and MetalSonic to help him in his attempt to lift Olympic Gold.
