This is a super little radio that has all the features Radio Shack is known for. It has 40 channels with the maximum allowable output power, a PA output, external speaker jack, a noise blanking circuit for those annoyingly powerful nearby disturbances, an ANL (automatic noise limiter) for stations on the same frequency, a channel 9 (emergency) priority switch, an RF gain control (to bring in those far away stations - or drown out those very close stations), and three NOAA weather station frequencies. This radio has a noise cancelling microphone that blocks out wind and road noise when you transmit so the listener hears only your voice. A great working radio (see the photos).
