It is hard to get a picture with nothing in background. The frame is metal and hardboard was stapled on back. The frame does need a polishing. It has what looks like hard water stains but with scrubbing, it comes off. After cleaning, it is ready to hang. The beveling is 1" wide along entire interior frame.
