Graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1982; teachers V. Bosenko, V. Budnikov, V. Vyrodova-Gautier, I. Zadorozhnyi, O. Tyshchenko). Since then, he has been a teacher at the Dnipro Art School (until 1992).
