Misuratore di pH Beckman Model G 1950 senza elettrodo usato nel sito di test nucleari Nevada

1950 Beckman Model G pH Meter, Serial No. 91092 manufactured by Beckman Coulter in Pasadena, California. It was used for research conducted through the Nevada Nuclear Test Site (not for radioactive materials) by university researchers. This vintage piece holds historical significance and represents the technology used in scientific research during the mid-20th century. Wood case has some water spot damage and minor chips to finish, as well as some missing paint on interior lid (see top photos, and other photos). It is missing the electrode, so it is not possible to tell if it works. It is a perfect collectable for those interested in science. Model G was developed by Arnold Beckman in 1934 and was in wide spread use by 1937.
