Lovely mid-century cream plaster lamp base; columnar in shape and carved or moulded to represent a classical style column with decorative accents like swags and balustrading. Characterful wear giving a gently distressed, shabby chic appearance - please study the photos to ascertain that this is the look you're after. In working order, was rewired a few years ago but I recommend you get it tested for peace of mind.
