Love this little Seiko. This was a true eBay rescue. New crystal and gaskets. Full service on the movement brought it back to life, these 7009s are bulletproof. This one timegraphed at +/- 0 seconds dial up and down. But I expect it to run closer to +10 seconds a day or so. Overall, great runner. The crown and stem are a bit wonky, I didn’t replace but it’s a little crooked, very common for 50+ year old watches. Only other issue is the day quick set sometimes gets hung up between Wednesday and Thursday. But can be resolved by advancing the time slightly. Date quickset works flawlessly. Overall this is a great little watch. I put it on a nice albeit low cost leather Getalia band. But it’s the standard vintage Seiko 19mm lug so would be quite easy to find another bracelet or strap.
