Antique cast iron register or floor vent / grate. The grate has an ornate design on the front, spins to open or close. It fits a 10" flume, the covering is 12" in diameter and weights about 8 pounds. Time period looks to be early 1900s. Pre-owned spinning floor grate / heating vent is in very good condition considering its age. Still spins nice and smooth, cast iron areas have patina due to age.
