Original solid glass & metal antique butter churn with treated wood handle and untreated for health reasons interior paddle. Measures 14" tall to the top of the metal x 6" square. Embossed in raised letters on the front "40 Dazey Churn Mfg Co. Saint Louis USA". Excellent condition with chips, ordinary interior bottom fine scratches from butter removal, and ordinary aging of the metal top though due to regular early use the wood part of the paddle due aging damage was restored. Estimated early 1800's.
