They grow to be 15+ feet tall in a matter of years and get significantly larger around than a coke can. They have grown an astonishing 5+ feet per year in Tampa, Florida. I have been able to plant them directly in the ground and while they go dormant during the coldest months, they always bounce back stronger than ever next spring.
