Map salvaged from an antique Edwardian atlas, believed to date from 1909, that was beyond repair. Shows the regions of southern Italy, including Sardinia and Sicily. Includes inset maps of Rome and Naples. The map shows some authentic signs of ageing and wear, as expected for a document of its age, and may exhibit slight damage from the salvaging process. There are some small fragments of another map on the back of the paper due to the original binding process, but this does not impact on the featured map. Displayable condition. Dimensions of full page: 51.4 x 39.2 cm. Sent packaged inside a hard cardboard postal tube, within a protective plastic sleeve.
