Vintage Services Diplomat Swiss manual-wind watch from the late 1940s to 1950s, powered by the respected A. Schild AS 984 15-jewel movement. A very attractive mid-century piece with a clean minimalist dial, elegant gilt dauphine hands and classic sub-seconds layout. The long curved lugs and oversized crown give it a strong military-inspired vintage character rarely seen on modern watches. The watch is fully working and winds smoothly. As with all vintage mechanical watches, long-term accuracy has not been tested. A very honest and collectible mid-century Swiss watch with great vintage wrist presence.
