Antique 19th Century French 4/4 Violin Breton Brevete Circa 1890 Mirecourt Good Quality instrument! Nice shape and colour! One piece back, label inside. The label inside reads BRETON BREVETE DE S.A.R.ME and the name Breton is stamped on the button. The name Breton Brevete was created by Joseph-François Breton, who used it until his death in 1837. However, after this time it appears to have passed into the public domain, and was used by a number of Mirecourt workshops. Size: Full length 60 cm, Body size: 36 cm long, 21 cm wide, full size 4/4 Very Good condition, only wear and scratches! No damage!
