This preamplifier is based on famous LZ1AQ design. The preamplifier is power trough the coaxial bias tee, or via +12V pad at the board. It is up to you. The bias tee should be placed in close to the receiver and through bias tee you will feed +12V/50-70mA DC power to the antenna.
