It was AMD's best second generation Ryzen processor and was released in 2018. Other Notes: One of the benefits of these processors is their compatibility with older 300 and 400-series motherboards. If I could choose, I would opt for a high-end B450 or X470 motherboard to pair with this top-end processor.
