This Salviati bowl is a fantastic example of the 16th century style reproductions they made in the late 19th and early 20th century. This is a free blown bowl with hand done threading around the mid section as well as face form prunts on either end of the bowl. Interestingly it has a petal type pontil mark on the applied base.
