Especially ideal for improvisational jazz, this hard rubber mouthpiece is based on the same design of the Early Babbitt days, from 1975 to 1979. It uses the same mold with the same cores, both vulcanized to the same specifications and manually machined then hand finished — just as they were in the "good old days." These classic mouthpieces were made famous by Stan Getz and Mark Colby, among other superb musicians, and they are now big hits with Sweetwater saxophonists due to their smooth, dark sound and powerful response.
