A rare original WW2 British War Office map of ITALY entitled " CASSINO" featuring the world famous "ABBAZIA DI MONTECASSINO". The fighting at CASSINO was incredibly difficult due to the mountainous terrain and the Germans' occupation of the high ground at MONTECASSINO, site of the historically significant Benedictine Abbey.
