A Mallet Design for Every Sound Malletech’s New Orchestral Series of mallets seeks to channel the spirit of a movement of orchestral mallet testing of years past, turning it in a more specific and contemporary direction. With the aid of William James from the St. Louis Symphony, Malletech has expanded its original Orchestral lineup to reflect not only a wide range of tonal vibrancy, but an exploration of construction, weight response, and handle feel. Some handles feature the same Honduran rosewood that ornaments their premium xylophones and marimbas, while others use comfortable rattan construction.
