When you first remove the top panel of your XDJ-RX2, make sure to remove the Mic Level 1 & 2 knobs before anything else. Then when you've removed the 3 screws with arrows on the rear panel, and all the screws on the bottom (except the feet), lift up the top half and slowly flip it 180 degrees towards the direction of the crossfader like a book after it's separated from the bottom half.
