Philadelphia-based boutique and label Lapstone & Hammer is bringing a hand-dyed treatment to two Asics models on an extremely limited basis. Taking inspiration from denim, Lapstone and Hammer has dip-dyed the Gel-NYC and Gel-1130. No two pairs are alike because of the nature of the handmade process, which was handled in Philadelphia by Lapstone & Hammer itself, making each faded “Indigo” look as unique as a pair of jeans that you’ve worn in yourself. In total, just 100 pairs will release across the two models. This was a extremely exclusive release and the only known pair on the resale market.
