The 8MR400-4 BULLET 8" midrange speaker uses a "bullet" phase plug made from pure aluminum to lower inductance and act as a heat sink cooling system for the voice coil. Machined to perfection for even sound dissipation the phase plug also improves off-axis frequency response.
