Here is a 50-pin 2GB SCSI hard drive I pulled from a Power Macintosh 8500 where I saw it booting. This is a 5400 RPM Seagate ST32430N SCSI-2 drive made for Apple. Apple's part number is 655-0386. The Mac 8500 ran Mac OS 9.2, which I deleted with a new low level format.
