Used Seagate 300GB hard drive, 7200 RPM, IDE interface (NOT SATA!). I have verified drive is working and can read and write to it using an older computer that has an IDE connection on the motherboard (I was also able to read and write to it using a USB to IDE converter, however, I have found these converters to be inconsistent wrt connecting to IDE drives. ).
