It had the original HDD replaced with a 480GB SSD in July 2017, by an Apple Authorised Service Provider based in St Albans. They also changed the 8GB RAM for 16GB. It's ran very well since then. The only reason I upgraded to another Mac is it cannot update further than Catalina so I couldn't use software for my work.
