I freely admit my mis-spent youth was filled with any sci-fi TV series I could cram into my eyes. While it wasn't quite THAT good, I still really used to enjoyed it. For those who didn't see it (ask your parents, you young people) the series was about the adventures of William 'Buck' Rogers, a US Airforce pilot who goes into space in the Ranger 1 shuttle and through an accident is frozen and re-thawed in the 25th century after the Earth was mostly devastated in a nuclear war.
