This is a wonderful authentic Victorian ladies Black Mourning Hat dates to the 1860's civil war era. The top of the hat is adorned with both a vintage black velvet ribbon. Horsehair edging and beaded trim and a rose in front just above the face. This really is an amazing hat to have survived 160 years and still be in this condition.
