Three cities were chosen as targets, Hiroshima Kokura, and Nagasaki. A weather plane was over each city reporting the weather to the Enola Gay, but Hiroshima was the primary target. I have been the Reunion Chairman for each Reunion 2001-2006, 2008-2016 & 17,and have edited a book on the 509th.
